Daragh Morgan is an adventure athlete with an unstoppable passion for open sea swimming and endurance challenges.
In Summer 2025, he will attempt the first-ever tidal-assisted stage swim around the entire island of Ireland, aiming to set a Guinness World Record.
A lifelong lover of the ocean, Daragh trains daily in the Atlantic and Irish Sea. His mission is to inspire people to connect with, respect, and protect Ireland’s wild waters — ensuring they remain a vital resource for future generations.

On May 1st, 2025, Daragh Morgan made history by becoming the first person to swim from Blackrock, Salthill to Inis Mór! A daring open-water journey across Galway Bay. This monumental feat marks a powerful start to the Swim Éire challenge and showcases Daragh’s unmatched determination, endurance, and love for Ireland’s wild Atlantic waters.
